Confessions of a Shopaholic: A Review

ConfessionsConfessions of a Shopaholic is a funny and witty novel by Sophie Kinsella. It follows the misadventures of Rebecca Bloomwood, financial journalist who is hopeless when it comes to her own finances! WHAT A FUN READ!!!!

When a hapless and obsessive shopper is confronted with her failing finances, she struggles to reel herself in! Rebecca is anything but unintelligible, but for some reason, she finds herself emotionally dependent on the thrill of shopping. She is also a financial journalist doing the bare minimum to keep her articles in print, copying press releases verbatim and avoiding any ACTUAL journalistic endeavors. It’s mostly a story of her misadventures in love and money.

Seriously loved this book. It’s not ground-breaking, it’s not a classic, but oh, my, what a funny, laugh-out-loud novel! I can’t wait to read the next in the Shopaholic series!
